Let's face it, we all have that tub of Vaseline that sits in our bathroom cabinet for years. Here's a few great tips on how to finally finish the tub.
1. Use the jelly on cracked skin
like hands and feet to soften them. Wear socks or gloves over the cracked skin overnight
and by morning they should be softer than ever.
2. Apply some petroleum jelly on your nose to soothe a chapped area caused from a cold. This will add moisture and let it heal quickly.
3. Have split ends? Take a little
Vaseline and apply it to the ends of your hair to glue the split ends back
together.
4. If your annoyed that your
eyeshadow doesn’t always stay on all day, apply a thin coat on your eyelids
before putting your eyeshadow on. The eyeshadow will stick and make you look
flawless all day.
5. Use Vaseline as eye cream to add
moisture. This will help prevent wrinkles and baggy eyes later on in life.
6. If you run out of makeup remover
coat your eyelids with the jelly and gently wipe away with a tissue. All clean.
7. To restore the shine to your
leather jacket, shoes, or purse apply a thin layer on it, rub it in and your
leather looks brand new.
8. Hair not working? Tame the fly
aways with a little Vaseline. This will help the hairs stay put.
9. If you have razor burn, rub some jelly on it and the redness should go away.
10. Exfoliate your lips by mixing a
little sugar in with some of the jelly and brush it on your lips with a tooth
brush.
11. To prevent blisters from wearing
your favorite shoes, rub some jelly on the part of the shoes that irritates
your foot. Just like that, no more blisters.
12. Highlight your cheekbones by
blending in a small amount of jelly across your cheekbones. This will give you
a contour look without buying the expensive makeup.
13. Have smelly feet? Smear a thin
layer over your feet and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Afterwards wipe off
the jelly and your feet should no longer smell.
14. If you have cuts, bruises, or
other minor injuries rub some Vaseline on them to help them heal faster. The
jelly will prevent any other bacteria from causing an infection.
15. Apply the jelly to your lips to give a glossy look.
What great ideas! Good topic Laura!
