6 Pairs of Shoes Every College Girl Needs to Own

        

        Have you ever needed a certain pair of shoes that you don’t have? At some point you have probably run into this problem. Instead of spending a lot of money buying the shoes you needed, you probably just ended up using your roommate’s. The only problem was, was that she was a size smaller. We’ve all been there, including me. However, there is a solution. Here are a few shoes that every college girl needs in order to avoid scrambling around to find that pair of shoes you need desperately at the last minute.

 

1. Sandals

        I know it seems like there are hardly any warm months during the school year, but there are a few that’ll let you wear sandals without freezing your toes off. I recommend getting a pair that are both comfortable and durable. It’s also nice if you a few pairs or one that is very versatile so you’ll be able to wear it with almost anything. 

2. Sneakers

        The best kind of sneakers are the ones that match everything. I recommend a neutral shade like black, brown, or white. For me these shoes are my denim Keds. Just find one that are both versatile and comfortable so you won’t want to cut off your foot while walking to class.

3. Weather-proof boots

        Depending where you live this might consist of rain boots or snow boots. If you’re me stuck in Erie PA, then you need both. You want boots that will keep you warm and dry when raining or snowing. You can find the expensive hunter boots online but if you’re under a tight budget like any other college student, you can get a pair of rain boots at Walmart for just $15. 

4. Riding Boots

        Riding boots are very popular in autumn and winter. A pair of black or brown boots are a shoes essential as they are very stylish and keep you warm. Not only can they be worn casually but they can also be worn to dress up an outfit. It’s the perfect go-to shoes when its chilly outside.

5. Tennis Shoes

        For all those times you go to the gym… or not. I have tennis shoes but I hardly work out. Tennis shoes are a good pair of shoes to have.  You never know when you’re going to want to go on a hike or when your roommate will drag you to gym.

6. Black flats and/or black pumps

        You never know when a job interview or a school presentation will come around. Black flats are perfect as they are the perfect mix between casual and professional. If you want to one up everyone else, try the black pumps. Just remember they should be pumps not platform heels.

        If you don’t already have these shoes, get them. Maybe get a few of each. If you don’t need them today, you’ll need them tomorrow. It’s better to be safe than sorry my friends.
