How Low Will They Go?

You step out on the red carpet. Your hair is waving in the wind. You wave to the crowd as you slide by them in your beautiful Calvin Klein collection gown. You accidentally drop your clutch and as you reach down to get it… POP. One of the twins seemed to have left the nest. You’re standing there exposed and downright humiliated that your elegant dress didn’t keep them in for the night. How are you ever going play this off?
Every time I watch the red carpet, I feel like we get closer and closer to something like this happening. One wrong move and the night can be ruined.

As most of you probably already know, the Oscar’s were on late last Sunday night and if you followed the stars at all on the red carpet you may have realized that the trend of the night seemed to be a bit plunging.

Saoise Ronan is a beautiful Calvin Klein collection
gown.
If showing off your body is the what you do best than go for it, but for me I would never be able to walk outside with a neckline cut down to my waist. I’d be too scared that the little scenario above would be happen to me. That I’d be walking without a care in the world with my neckline cut low and my dress couldn’t cover enough. However, stars from Olivia Wilde to Taylor Swift seemed no have fear while they strolled elegantly down the red carpet at the Oscar’s in their plunging necklines.

I first noticed the trend on Saoise Ronan, the star of Brooklyn. Her plunging neckline was perfect for the dress. Simple and elegant there was no problem at all. But when I started seeing stars like Charlize Theron and Olivia Wilde, that’s when I was turned away. I noticed that as the V got lower, the less fabric we saw. And the less fabric we saw the more side boob we got. And frankly, I would rather not see the side boob.

As they all came in, I saw more and more. I mean good for them being able to show off and risk the fall but there is no possible way these women could have made it through the night without almost having an accident.

Each and every one of them looked phenomenal in their gowns but wow some of them easily could have had a little whoopsie at the Oscar's. And that wouldn't have been good would it?
